In Taco Bell Greg Creed is a Chief Executive Officer. Creed worked hard through his leadership style to make Taco Bell a global brand. He uses all the four functions of management in an effective way and is found to be a transformational and transactional leader both, for the organization. Employees are empowered by Creed and he was not an authoritarian. His vision was to focus on the end results and ability for building franchise relationships. The basic motivational factor for his workforce was that, he marches on the beats of his own drum, is honest in al his organizational dealings and he believes in understanding and viewing yourself as a brand. As being a leader, he was also a change agent because, he believes in future, not the present, is invigorate by passion, and has an ability to inspire passion in others, and has a strong ability of motivating others.

Creed has the ability to empower the employees because; he was not a script kind of leader. He is honest, forthcoming, and chatty, and was intimately rooted in company (Business Editor, 2001). Employees were given power to make decisions based on their own assumptions in accordance with the limits provided by the organization.

Authoritarian

Greg Creed was not at all authoritarian instead was because he believe in the creation of single integrated view of One System that moves the performance of business upward. He will be forming a dedicated team and the same time leading it also that will help Taco Bell to be an international brand. For this reason, he has great understanding of the focus on customer, discipline and all processes along with commercial know how that will drive the growth of sales and profit both.
