The children's fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel" is the story of two siblings who are abandoned in the woods by their parents and held captive by an evil witch. It begins when the stepmother of Hansel and Gretel, her husband, a poor woodcutter, persuaded, because of financial hardship, the two children to stay in the woods. Because the Hansel overheard her conversation with the two but he knows the plan of the parents to handle.

The first trip, he puts white stones along the way so he can go home and Gretel. After the failed attempt to suspend the two, the father starts a second attempt. Again, sets, Hansel a trace, but this consists of bread crumbs and is eaten by the birds. As Hansel and Gretel are not home now, they roam in the woods and come up against a house made of gingerbread and luggage. The occupant of this house is a witch captures Hansel and Gretel.

They were not exposed, but they ran away. So they came to the witch's house. The witch is a friend of her stepmother and has immediately taken the children and informed her witch-Mobile's stepmother. The waiting time, the children spent trying to annoy the witch. The thing goes for the witch is not good. There were bread crumbs, birds, and disastrously, the candy house. Inside lived the kind old lady who was in fact wretched, lost in a different way. All my life, I thought the story was about the importance of not being fooled by anything too good to be true. When I read it a couple of weeks ago, though, I discovered other layers: the world Hansel and Gretel inhabit is gravely unsympathetic to them, and every character in the story is either touched or ...
