There are very few artists in the world that are blessed with pure talent. One of such multi talented artists that still lives and produces various masterpieces is known by the name Harry Gregson Williams. A composer, a produce and a well known artist, Gregson to date has composed many famous and melodious soundtracks. His trademark includes the Usage of electric cello and/or violin in almost every soundtrack since The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Harry Greg Wilson is a producer and DJ. He is associated with the electro scene of the early 80's in Manchester, and the recent disco also, and for this, he has gained international following. Greg Wilson was born in 1961 in England. At the age of 15, he started his career as DJ in a club. He was famous for playing disco and soul records, and for playing funk. In the beginning of the 80's, Wilson moved to Wigan Pier and made his mark as an specialist in jazz-funk by means of his night sessions that he used to do on Tuesday. With his main interest in black music, nights of Wilson in Wigan Pier enclosed a spectrum of styles that was based on black music. He became famous nationally because of his specialties in the electro records. In the year 1983, The Hacienda; a newly stated club, invited the Wilson to start the dance night for the club. The Wilson put together the first re-edit of UK.

Apart from all the success, in the year 1984, he retires from Djing in order to meet a new challenge. Rather than playing the records, he started to produce the music. He produced and co-write the album with the name “UK Electro”. This album included a track with the name “Style of the Street”. Form the year 1987 till 1991, the Wilson produced/managed Ruthless Rap Assassins of Manchester. The Rap Assassins with the help of EMI released two highly praised albums with the name “Think” in the year 1990 and “Killer Album” in the year 1991. He gave a hit album in the year 1990 that was named as “And it wasn't a Dream”, that was focused on the dilemma of immigrants of West India that were coming to UK in the era of 50's.

In the year 2004, the Electro-Funk was re-visited by Wilson, he compiled the album of “Classic Electro Master Cuts”, this was the part of the well-known series of “Classic Master Cuts” that was released in UK by Beechwood. This decade was the period of wilderness for Wilson, however, in the year 2003, he created his personal website; the link for the website was electrofunkroots.co.uk, this website documented the rise of the electro.
