Introduction

Stress has been considered as the growing and highly adverse problem in society. Currently, almost every individual in our society is experiencing many different and adverse stressful conditions. There is a great significance of managing and reducing stress from our lives in order to manage all the work smoothly and efficiently. Everyone in the society is experiencing many stressful situations in their lives and every individual is reacting in different way to different kinds of stressful conditions or stress. There are many skills, tools and more knowledge in order to understand the level of stress in our lives. There are several strategies which have been proposed by specialists for preventing, escaping and coping stress. These strategies are eliminating stress from our lives for the provision of better and enhanced quality of life and health. Victims of stress have experienced many adverse affects of stress on their mental and physical health. Stress can be long term (chronic) or short term (acute) (Canadian Community Health Survey, 2011).

Stress is characterized as the factor which incorporates metal or bodily tension. There are many ways for the occurrence of stress. The occurrence of stress causes several different effects on physical and mental health of a human body. Stress can be represented in many different forms. Currently, stress is affecting huge population of the United States. Stress has affected population of the entire world. Stress mostly takes place because of some traumatic event in the life of people. Large amount of people are being stressed because of their workplace's problems. Stress is affecting each person physical and mental conditions in a different way. There are many adverse affects of stress which are being faced by the huge population of United States. However, experts and professionals are proposing may effective programs for curing and preventing stress in the population of United States. The side effects of stress include memory disturbances, chest palpitations or pain, depression, loss of concentration, loose stools, anxiety, headache, digestive problems, neck pain, backache, outbursts of anger, cold sweats and loss of overeating or appetite. In more serious and chronic cases, side effects of stress can reach to substance abuse, heart attack, weight gain or loss, bowel syndrome, sleeplessness and anxiety disorder (Canadian Community Health Survey, 2011).

Stress Rate

Stress rate is increasing in our society with the passage of time. Main working ages for highest stress rate are 35 to 54 years old. Stress rate has been almost 30 percent in the people who belong to the age group of 45-54 and 35-44. In this age group, people are found to be stressed because they are accountable for managing several family and career responsibilities. In older age, the stress rate reduces to some extent and it has been experienced to be 11.7 percent.
