Immortality in Islam

Islam guarantees immortality to all people regardless of religion or individual merit, but only Muslims, full of faith in Allah and his prophet Mohammed, and strictly obey the commandments of the Koran, will go to paradise, all the rest are condemned to immortality in hell. An integral part of Islamic dogma is the anti-scientific notion of the immortality of the soul. Islam does not have any association with this grief philosophy of Kubler-Ross, rather it uphold the firm belief that Allah Almighty has the complete control over the life and death of not only humans, but all the living creatures (Ferrater, 90).

Islam teaches that one should not fear death. For those who believe and do righteous deeds, death should not be scary.
