Introduction

The modern world introduced in the 20th century, with diverse cultures, nations, laws, trends, inventions, which have changes everyone's life. However, in case of musical notes, the creation halted and still people are enjoying, and appraising the old melodies and old school of thoughts. Similarly, NPR put the works of the musicians in the list of 100 American musical works of the twentieth century. The series includes from Jimi Hendrix to George Gershwin to Aaron Copland to the Ramonones. I accessed to NPR and selected Jimi Hendrix. He was an American guitarist, singer and the song writer. I selected him because he was one of the marvelous guitarists, and the most influential musicians of the era in the history of music.

He travelled a lot also performs his work in Europe, after his initial success in Europe he achieved reorganization in United States and got the chance to perform at the Monterey POP Festival. He got a lot of albums recorded and released, the second album 'Experiences', which released, in 1960's is his best album. I liked the album a lot, Axis: Bold as Love was his first recording he did for the stereo release. This was the first album which marked on the basis that he did all the song with his guitar turned down one half- step to E (Shore, 2008).

From the first song to the last song every work was a master piece, and he recorded and amazing collection of songs over a very short span of his early career. He had an edge over many styles of music's, and embraced the influences of blues, ballads, rock, R&B, and jazz that made him one of the most pop musicians (npr.org). I admire him a lot I love to listen and play music, and for a person like me Jimi Hendrix is a great source of inspiration as with just 5 dollars in the pocket he purchased guitar, and replaced the broomstick he used to play with imitating the guitar. He has all the innovative style of combining fuzz, and haze, and controlling the distortion that created by a new form of music. Despite of the fact that he cannot read or write the musical notes, he did a remarkable work and took place in just four years of a time span (Shapiro, pp. 7).

His songs have such a musical language that every listener would be influence by his concepts, and he not even tends to influence the mob but also those who were hosting new, modern music from George Clinton to Miles Davis, and Steve Vai to Jonny Lang (Shadwick, pp. 92).

In my opinion, after listening to the songs of Jimi Hendrix, one thing I must say that we might never get such an influential musician again, he was the treasure for the musical industry. I never see a musician taking control over the direction of the music so much as Jimi Hendrix had done he was very much dedicated. NPR gave the true reorganization to him as ...
