Introduction

Puritans from England were the chief colonists of New England. They had an ideological dedication and loyalty to their colonies. They also had a common religious goal to flourish as they were convinced with the idea that their emigration was favored by the God. Spreading their religion was the primary motive behind their emigration along with an underlying effort to increase profit with the families seeking to develop an affluent life for themselves (Lambert, 2010).
