Messiah is a Hebrew word meaning the one who has been appointed, as according to the Greek meaning of this word it means the future king or who has to become the king in future in other words. As according to the Old Testament, there were some particular indications that the Messiah will fulfill after his arrival which will indicate of him being the Messiah. As according to the indications mentioned in the Old Testament, the messiah will be the person, the arrival of whom will put an end to the history, the present and the future.

As the work of some scholars suggests that the early followers of Jesus had made a checklist in order to prove that the Jesus of Nazareth was the one who was the Messiah and who was the one that was destined to fulfill the foretold destiny as on the basis of the said indications of the Old Testament. The Jews who are the followers of the Old Testament believed and waited for a Messiah who would relieve them of darkness through fighting against the darkness through the use of militant or political behavior.

Furthermore, the believers of the New Testament made a check list of the indications that were made by the Old and the New Testament, which were supposed to be addressed by the Messiah on his arrival and instead of focusing on the way through which Jesus of Nazareth was performing those indications, they focused on the fulfillment of the indications which was being done by the Jesus of Nazareth.

Later on as under the light of Old and the New Testament, Jesus was given the name of Christ which meant the son of God or in other words it was a translation for the word Messiah, therefore the name Jesus Christ was not actually the name of Jesus, instead it was an annotation indicating towards that Jesus is the Christ or in other words it can be termed or understood as Jesus is the son of God and therefore the rightful owner of the land. Furthermore, in his teachings in the New Testament, Jesus has frequently ...
