Dear Sirs/Madam,

I would like to apply for admission to the first year as a student of the faculty of Medicine in your university. The enclosed copies of my grade sheets will show you my performance throughout my senior high school years.

I have always been a diligent student in primary, junior and senior high school. I have received several awards for being an outstanding student in my school years. In primary school, I won the incentive award for mathematics and literature in grade 3. I also won the 3rd prize at competition for the province's excellent students in mathematics and literature in grade 5. I also secured the Dutch Lady Milk products' scholarship for outstanding students. My credentials speak themselves for the capabilities I have, and what I am capable of contributing to your institution.

After finishing my primary school, I took an entrance exam for mathematics class at Thai Nguyen junior high school, which is the most prestigious junior high school in Khanh Hoa province. I passed the exam with flying colors and studied mathematics for 4 years at Thai Nguyen High school. In grade 6, I got an award for the best student of the class with a GPA of 9.4 out of 10. This shows that I was always an exceptional student with a high GPA during my junior high school years.

When I finished the junior high school, I passed a highly competitive entrance exam to become a student of the chemistry class in the Le Quy Don high school for the gifted, which is a part of the national high school for the gifted students system. My teachers always set high expectations from me, and I never let them down. So I worked diligently to come up to my teachers expectations in order to stay in the school for the gifted.

With the background knowledge that I have in chemistry and mathematics, I strongly feel that a course in conventional medicine will be very relevant for me to start a medical practice back to my home country.

Ever since I was a kid, my parent always taught me the value of perseverance and to care for the community. Thus, I decided to become a doctor so that I can make a contribution towards the betterment of the society by alleviating pain and making lives better. I want to make the world a better living place and want to do something for others, which I believe I can do with professional practice as a doctor.

Besides, that I can play musical instruments, I can dance and sing traditional songs. I used to entertain the patients at the hospital my parents worked at in the fringe festival events. Furthermore, I have a huge collection of books and novels as I am interested in ...
