Germany Caused World War I with Its Over-Aggressive Foreign Policy

Introduction

Foreign policies intentionally designs for narrowing the gaps between other foreign countries, but in the case of Germany, we find it inclining towards another motive. The darkest interpretation of the history is that Germany actively participated in the planning of an aggressive World War I. The Kaiser held a meeting in December 1912, where few historians believe that this basically decided to go on war after 18 months. Certainly, this interpretation is quite controversial, but Kaiser and other advisors' bellicosity can be clearly seen by the outbreak of war in August 1914. After a month, when the war started, Germany sketched some important war aims, such as the power of French would be ended, colonial empire would carve out in Africa and Belgium would decline to vassal status. In the year of 1917-18, Germany established a giant informal empire over the destruction of defeated Russia. Even, we can find some continuity in the aim of Hitler regarding World War II. In this paper, I will be highlighting key facts regarding Germans attitude towards other European countries and also their dominancy in different time periods for pointing out their actual aims. I cannot completely blame Germans for being behind the World War I, due to its over aggressive foreign policy, because at the same time, they also had huge responsibility of making their power superior in the world. It is not like Germans never warned states before warring, but indeed, they did not give them another chance to attack back.

Discussion Analysis

We cannot forget that Germany is the most powerful state of Europe which has potent force to compete in the world. People cannot forget that Germany was the country of Adolf Hitler, who planned deadly World War II for controlling the entire world. Germany has many dimensions that make their unique culture by the adoption of western standardization. In September 1939, Hitler's attack on Poland carried declarations of war from France and England, which ultimately launched the World War II. The foreign policy of Germany was greatly influenced by reminiscence of WWII.

In the year of 1914, it seems that Germany got opportunity for turning dreams into regal reality. It is not clear that whether Germany started this war for achieving these aims or they found themselves in the war. Few significant figures of Germans that includes politicians, industrialists, and the Kaiser himself preferred a radical approach. We can trace the history that Germany controlled almost of Belgium and few economic key phases of northern France. Poland and few portions of Russia were conquered in the campaign of 1915-17 and by the end of the war; Germany was keeping an eye on Austria Hungary.

The wealth and volume of the seized Eastern territories can be easily weighted and Germans did not draw back from France and Belgium. It is important to observe that France may have maintained some peace and the collapse between anti-German ...
