The results shown above represent the number of moles of NO2- (nm) by 1 gram of leaf tissue in 1 minute. As seen above, the leaves were kept in different conditions which varied relating to the presence of light and the presence of nitrate ions NO3. The level of enzyme activity is corresponding to the number of moles of NO2- (nm) produced by the leaf tissue.
