Domino's Pizza

Domino's Pizza is the world leader in pizza delivery on request. It has both its own and franchised properties in the United States and in other parts of the world. Now, as part of the network are more than 9 300 points located in more than 65 markets. In the past few years, the company opened more than 300 units per year. Domino's Pizza has more than 175 000 people and has more than 2 000 franchisees. On a global scale, the network provides daily more than 1,000,000 pieces of pizza (Annual Report - Domino's Pizza, 2011). In the U.S., Domino's is the third largest online store in terms of number of transactions (after the Amazon and iTunes). In 2011, the company for the third time (and the second time in a row) was named "Pizza Chain of the Year" awarded by "Pizza Today" magazine industry leading manufacturers and suppliers of pizza. To analyze the demand analysis and forecasting for Domino's Pizza, there are several variables which have been taken in the analysis including prices of pizzas, its relative demand. There are other variables which have been taken in the analysis which are not directly related to the research but will be used as the proxy variables to determine whether the decision of opening Domino' Pizzas is significant or not. These variables include number of fast food restaurants (# FF Rest), number of members in household (# in HseHld), number of times fast food eaten out (# Times eat FF out), Average dollars (money) spent at fast (Avg $ Spent @FF), buy drink, their income group and most importantly they work or not. The whole analysis will be depending upon these variables and certainly quantity sold and prices will remain as the core variables on which the whole study depends.
