Introduction

When it comes to normative ethics, Aristotle would say organizaitons should exercise and apply the virtues in the course of doing business as it is beneficial to all its shareholders and it is also only means to be true victorious. At the same time, according to Bentham and Mill, an organizaiton should only apply those virtues that promote the greatest good for majority. Buckley (2001, 11) would propose producing a list of universal rules that oragnizations should pursue. And, also applied ethical principles could be employed to recommend how organizations should treat its shareholders. In spite of of what ethical theory an individual or a organizaiton may hold, it is apparent that employees consider organizations have a duty to act morally in all aspects of its business.. The essay will include an analysis of the system of moral norms and values as it prevails in the society and how. I have included a discussion of online gambling and BP oil spill to argue that business are often ignoring the interest of the society and often end up making profits at the expense of hurting the society.

Each society is peculiar system of moral norms and values, which is an integral part of the spiritual life of society, determines the behavior of individuals and their relationships - interpersonal, group, social. Moral values ??embody public opinion, which expresses the prevailing in a given nation or state representation of the higher values ??of life: good and evil, justice and injustice, love, happiness, sense of duty, honor and conscience - forming personal paradigm of moral character of human society as a whole.
