This case study will briefly explain the role of the middle manage in an organization. This case study will demonstrate the position of the middle manager in the BNN news Company. The technical engineer has promoted to the stage of a middle manager. The role of the middle manager is to strengthen relations with the news providing agencies, and other networks for grabbing the headlines earliest among the rivals. The next job task is to promote the news group for selling commercial break gaps at higher prices than the current price. Middle manager is also responsible to promote the content of channel amongst Credit Ratings Company.

The engineer has been promoted to this role because of strong, dominant personality and ability to manage things. The ease with which he makes new contacts is commendable. He has a very intelligent mind to identify people upon their work. He focused more on internal issues, other than the external issues.

The case will investigate whether the engineer has been able to use his skills and contacts efficiently to achieve the company's goals and objectives. The case will further investigate whether or not the manager has used his abilities for his personnel growth in the company.

The primary job role of the manager is to use personnel contacts for the benefits of the company. He will use effective resources and contacts to extract information. He will act as an organization's representative to encourage the rest of the staff to achieve his goals.

Introduction

The managerial network is the relation directly affected to the ability of the manager to manage, develop the personality and give benefits to the company. The purpose of the middle manager is to built the relationship with the “Networking" refers to the activities associated with managing and devolving such relationships. The relationships which are maintained are internal which are with the colleagues of the company. The external relationships outline the role of the manager with people outside the organization but related to the industry. These people include the competitors, customers, producers and sellers (Klijn, et. al. 2010, pp. 1063-1082).

The middle manager will cover the responsibilities, and use their contacts for the favor of the company. The role of the middle manager is to use the contacts efficiently to achieve short term goals and focus on long term objectives (Wagner, 1969).
