Introduction

This paper intends to present an individual portfolio of PR (public relations) artefacts, which has been prepared by freelance public relations professional. The client for this portfolio is the “Diocese of Worcester.” A number of meetings and official discussions have been conducted in relation to providing services to different stakeholders of Diocese of Worcester. Some of the important facts and figures of Diocese of Worcester include that it is from the 44 dioceses in England Church. The area of this diocese is about 671 square miles and also includes parishes in the in the Worcestershire county. It is an urban municipality of Dudley. In addition, Diocese of Worcester has some parishes in Sandwell, south east Wolverhampton, and northern Gloucestershire. St Theodore from Canterbury founded diocese in 679. Theodore was from the ethnic group of the Hwicce (Miller, 2012, pp. 21).



Discussion

At the present time, diocese comprised of approximately 163 stipendiary clergy, 281 churches, and 190 parishes. It is segregated into couple of Archdeaconries. These include the Archdeaconry of Dudley and the Archdeaconry of Worcester. The operations of “Diocese of Worcester” is managed by its committees and boards and directed by the Diocesan Synod. The budget of Diocese of Worcester is £6.8 million. Parishes have increased £4.5 million out this budget. Rt Revd Dr John Inge is the Bishop of Worcester. The Bishop of Dudley is the Suffragan Bishop (The Diocese of Worcester, 2013, n.p.).

Stakeholder map and stakeholder management are crucial to the effectiveness of every program in the Diocese of Worcester. Through involving different people or groups of people in the appropriate method, the organization can discover a great change towards its achievement and career building. Since an organisation turns out to be more effective as compared to the past times, the activities performed and the actions undertaken affect majority of the workers inside and outside the organization. Thus, stakeholder mapping plays a vital role in this context. The more workers organisation will affect, the more possibly it is that the organisation's activities will influence stakeholders / people holding authority over the programs.

These stakeholders can be powerful followers of the programs and projects performed in Diocese of Worcester or they can discontinue it.
