Tourism management is considered as the vital concept in the modern business as it offers island or country's tourism industry a positive image in the view point of the world. In the case of Philippines which considered as the one of those destinations which is popular because the destination management organizations of Philippines include various organizational entities, perhaps there are none more dominant than convention and visitors bureaus. In addition to this essential information on tourism in Philippines, the tourists will find lots of terrific tips to avoid over spending which advised by the locals themselves as information hard to find elsewhere. The purpose of all of these tips will make the visit of tourists, a very pleasant trip. Destination management of Philippines is of common public interest, both to the government that include taxes and revenues, the private sector which benefits from tourism, and the local residents whose livelihoods may depend on tourism. But, more importantly, the changes brought by globalization, sustainability, and conservation issues both locally and globally are requiring DMOs to take on much more responsibility and accountability. Collaboration and partnerships for integrated management of human community and biophysical world will continue to be a critical issue. The changes, as the two cases above demonstrate, cannot be handled by one organization alone and the leadership of the DMO at the destination level in facilitating sustainable development and integrated management will be crucial.

Determinants of Demand for Tourism in the Philippines

The main factors that affect the demand for tourism in the Philippines include the demand and internal and external factors. The demand factors are the determinants that people have for completion of travel, distinguishing between internal factors and external or direct or indirect. The internal factors are the conditions of each particular person, subjective and relative to them. Determining possibility or impossibility of completion of the journey, irrespective of the characteristics of an area:

Income: The economic capacity of people to allocate to tourism consumption and meet the price they have on the world tourism products and services, where curiously specific tourist products and services have no economic cost or price is negligible while the most important expenditure is taken tourists (accommodation restoration fun). With the same income level two different people may choose to counter solutions.

Time: It is needed for carrying tourist, as it is conceived as the activity that requires a shift to a destination, where you have a temporary stay after the end of variable returns to the place of residence of the tourist (Fullagar, 2000, 58-76). There are three types of times;

Work time: time that people spend their proportional activities being the main component of the business.

Free time: time left after work. Vacation travel, it is free decision taking into account the social relationships and family units.
