Introduction

Milk is an excellent biographical film that came out in 2008 on the life of gay rights activist and San Francisco City Supervisor Harvey Milk. The film received two Academy Awards. One for Best Screenplay by Dustin Lance Black, and the other for Best Actor in a Leading Role by Sean Penn, who starred as Harvey Milk.
