This memo will present the problem existing within the QuadGear Company. I will be entailing the problem situation in detail then in the next section will explain and apply conceptual framework of the Human resources; and will offer symbolic recommendations that will help to recover the problems existing with the organization.

The organizational structure of the QuadGear consists of four members in the director committee. Committee includes include Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Business operations are divided among these members in order to keep smooth running of the business. All of them are responsible for the operations they are assigned.

Description of a Problem Situation

This section will be stating the problem faced in the organization. All orders come to the company via emails. Same happened an order came in to QuadGear. As, I was responsible for the order specifications I called on the customer and made a meeting. In that meeting, I asked the customers for the final specification. Customer gave me all the order details and the print that he was willing to have on the t-shirts for his club. After collecting all the information the first thing I did I called the chief operating officer (COO) who is responsible for collecting the order and put the order in the production department and make sure that the order is in process as the customer needs to be done.

The turnaround time required for the order is two weeks. The next task I did was I bought all the materials that were required for the completion of that order. After, these entire tasks done I was waiting to see the progress report of this order. One week passed and I was not informed about the order progress, I called the COO; and asked her about the order. She informed me that the workers are not available in the production department; and the order is still in the queue. As other orders were coming, and created a horrible situation in QuadGear. For QuadGear, this was not the first time to see this horrifying situation as all the work is not properly managed by the management team. Secondly the Chief financial officer was not concern about his responsibility and did not complete his tasks on time. Eventually this made me do the work on his behalf and the reason he quoted for not completing his task was that he was busy doing other things, and could not put in time for QuadGear.

In this terrible situation, I took all the responsibilities as I committed the customer at the time of taking order that he will receive his order on time.
