Musical Review: How to succeed in business without even trying!

Introduction

How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying - a musical with elements of comedy, Frank Lesser, Abi Burrows, Jack and Willie Gilbert Veynstoka based on the eponymous book of 1952 the writer Sheparda Med.

The debut took place in October 1961 on Broadway and was given a total of 1417 performances. The musical won seven awards “Tony", as well as the Pulitzer Prize for dramatic work for the theatre. In 1967, he published a musical film adaptation of the American film studio United Artists, which was attended by many actors from the original production in 1961. In 1995, the musical was revived in the same theatre on 46 Street (now Richard Rodgers Theatre) was given 548 performances, and the principal roles were played by Matthew Broderick and Megan Mullan. The second revival of the musical with director Rob Ashford has for 2011. The main role performed by Daniel Radcliffe and John Larokket, debut March 27, 2011 at Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Review

The main plot of the musical is that; Jay Finch, a young but ambitious window cleaner in New York, after reading a book with tips for success in business, decides to get a job in the postal department of a large company World Wide Wicket. He met with the secretary Rosemary Pilkington, who dreams of suburban life, as well as the boss of the company and his snobbish nephew, who puts a spoke in the wheels of the plan Finch (Sheila, 2005).

THAT is what a Broadway musical should be. I absolutely adored it. I've never been a huge fan of Frank Loesser, and had only ever seen the film of this show, but my word was this revival brilliant! Rob Ashford ...
