Description of the track

Wilhelmj transposed the entire solo part, a jewel of lyrical music, so that it comfortably on the G string, fourth and deepest side of the violin, which has a unique, dark and romantic timbre that can be played. Die harmonischen Teile schrieb er für Klavier. The harmonic parts he wrote for piano. The composer arranged composition, which involved a violin and a piano. Wilhelmj managed to play the composition on a single string of the violen by transposing the D major to C major, and the piece down an octave. The music is also of great significance because it is the first piece of work recorded by Bach. The original piece was performed by Aleksandr Verzhbilovich and an unnamed pianist, in 1902.

Description of the track

The 'Messiah' is divided into three parts: the first deals with the announcement and birth of Christ, the second passion, resurrection, and in the final Halllujah actually already his second coming and eternal reign. The short third part is then quite the 'last things' dedicated.

One of his compositions was “The Messiah”, which was released in April 12, 1742. It should be noted that Handel gave the composition of this work an excessive desire, as he slept and ate just extremely little to dedicate maximum time on the composition. As a result, Handel achieved great success since his first audition. On April 6, 1759, he little strength, even, though, he had the will to perform the composition, but he fainted in the middle of his performance. The reason for the song's inclusion in the short list is its historical significance and the determination of a song composer towards his work. The song reminds a listener of the master piece at the time of Baroque era (Buelow, Pp. 336-521).
