How to Organize Your Wardrobe

Wardrobes are an essential part of our lives. All of us have a wardrobe that encloses all our major dressing belongings. For many people it is a place where they can chuck in anything that they find, but more people prefer to have a well organized wardrobe that has the clothes, the shoes and the accessories segregated in proper place. For a person to make the best use of his or her wardrobe and to know it, it is necessary that they can maintain a neat and clean wardrobe that is well organized as well. Organizing the wardrobe won't make you go through the cluttered mess at the brink of the time; rather, you would know where the shoes you need are and the bracelet you want to match up with your dress.

To organize the wardrobe, the most important part is to sift through all clothes that one possesses and then get rid of those that are old, worn out or not required anymore. The clothes can also be donated to any charity organization. Getting rid of useless clothes would allow a wardrobe to breath! The key to let out these clothes is that if they big or small by two sizes, they are not going to be used ever. So it is better to give them out and make space for new ones.

Coming to the organization part, one should start with any tops that they own. It is better to have hanging rods attached in one's wardrobe. In this way, they would be able to hang the maximum things they have and would be easily able to locate them. The key is to hand everything in sections. There should be section for tops, where all of them hang. One might colour code them as well to same time when one is looking for a top in particular colour.

After tops comes sweaters. There should be a separate section for them in the wardrobe, where they can be hung to retain their shape. If they are heavy, then they should be folded, as the hanger may stretch them. As folding sweaters takes a lot of space, one should do it by using a folding board, so they are not messy balls of sweaters, rather properly folded ones, which look neat and do not take much space as well.

Jeans can be hanged in order to save space as well as locate them easily. One can organize them either by brand or by colour coding. The lighter ones first and the darker ones at the end for easily picking up your favourite jeans whenever you need them. The pants and shorts should not be mixed with jeans.
