This study provides the various negative aspects associated with the number forty in Bible and in general context. This study provides the detailed analysis of these negative impacts and bad connotations associate with this number. This study highlights these negative aspects in the various social, cultural, traditional and religious contexts. This study also focused on the reasons for these negative impacts and the reasons for the negative ideology associated with this word in the social and cultural aspects. This study mainly focuses on the negative images associated with this number in the Christianity and provides complete detail about these negative images in the light of Scriptures and quotes from the Bible.

Numbers are not just the means to keep measures and calculations, but there are various other aspects associated with it. In numerology, astrology, and theology, numbers have a mystical, divine and special influence associated with some events. In most of the cases numbers a play a very strong role in defining the complete life of an individual. In different traditions, cultures and religions there are different meanings associated with it. There are always mysteries and wonders associated with the numbers since the ancient times and even in the modern scientific era. There are various positive and negative aspects associated with the numbers which defines the pattern of thought and beliefs with these numbers.

Same number can have different meaning in different cultures and religions.
