Introduction

Obesity is a hefty accretion of fat in your body to such ratio that swiftly enhances the risk of disease that can spoil the health and body shape. The fat around the body can be equally distributed or accumulated on the belly, hips and thighs. The body mass index (BMI) is being used to verify the individual weight in a healthy range for the medical purpose. In teenagers and children, BMI ranges are defined so they can distinguish the body fat in boys and girls and differences in body obese at various ages, although it correlates with the quantity of body fat but not directly, like athletes can have BMI which classifies them as overweight but they do not posses heavy body or fat.It has appeared nearly all imperative dietary problems facing the urbanized world. This trend has occurred from relatively short period of time; in the United Kingdom, it appears to have begun in the last quarter of the 20th century. Worldwide, it is a leading cause of death, with rising commonness in children and adults.The epidemic in children followed shortly thereafter. In England, over a quarter of adults (26% both men and women, aged 16 over) were classified obese in 2010(BMI 30kgm2 or over). (NHS.2012).

Right through, most of human history, weight gaining and fat storage were considered as a symbol of prosperity and good health. But that was the time of human's hard labour. Currently, however, standard of living has been raised and people use much machinery instead of manual labour, therefore it makes the person obese and unhealthy due to less work out. Obesity describes by “The World Health Organization” (WHO, 2000) as a situation of irregular or surplus accrual of adipose tissue (body fat) to degree that an individual's physical condition may be weaken or harmed. The development process from several periods, have been projected as critical time in the expansion of continual obesity. This includes early childhood and adolescence. Some facts suggest that breast- feeding protects later obesity in child. Possibility of consistency in obesity to childhood from adulthood is related both to severity and age. Eating is the habit of everyone but it is not compulsory that everyone is taking diet properly. Good diet contributes all well nutrition which is required by our body such as protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals that makes your food healthy. It is observed, in UK, the purchase trend in household expenditure on butter, sugar, eggs, preserves and beverages are on rise. It is obvious that the fashion of obesity has covered the vast population of UK in his trap; additionally it causes number of diseases like insufficient sleep, increased use of drugs that may cause weight gain, endocrine disruption, cholesterol, high blood pressure, pregnancy at later stages, Heart disease, Indigestion, Gallstones and some cancers like breast and prostate cancers.
