Introduction

Obscenity and Pornography are always considered as the major problem for the State and Government. It is very important concern for the State to manage all these concerns. It is the most important social and ethical issue. There are various laws to govern all these situations around the world. It is not the problem of a particular country or a particular time in the history but since the existence of mankind sexual crimes are always there but with different forms. Primitive man also involved in these activities by various means either taking woman by force or by seducing with offering any attractive object or a thing. It was not that complicated, but with the development of modern society and civilization it implied restriction on the freedom of having the sex. It became a problem to satisfy their needs without being tied in marital relationship. This led them to look for various other means that can satisfy the sex desires. The later impact was that despite satisfying these desires it resulted in provoking it. This opens new gates for the establishment of new ways in this area. Along with this problem prostitution was also the issue which could not be resolved and even has taken various forms since many centuries.

Changes in the availability of the prostitution and advancement in these methods for the availability of these prostitutes from the brothels to the call girls have brought many changes and thus led towards the sex industry. With the concept of adapting the business of selling the sex brought various new methods and techniques in the sex business. This trade, like any other trade was to get the maximum share of the market and thus required different strategies and new techniques to increase the business. This led them towards developing various that introduced the concept of Obscenity and Pornography in the business of sex or commonly known as sex trade or sex industry (Rozanski 1991). In some countries it is considered as the most common issue for law enforcement agencies. There are various laws to prevent this problem it is illegal and unethical and also a big issue for the moral values and beliefs of the society. Australia is also one of the countries which face these issues and need proper law regulation to prevent this problem.

There are various problems associated with the obscenity and pornography that requires proper attention to first understand the concept of these terms and general history for the evaluation of these concepts in the society. Since the decades there have been different changes in all the aspect of life. Globalization, freedom of expression, freedom of speech and other various advancements which were considered to serve the betterment and interest of the humanity in fact resulted in various negative influences on the society.
