The websites developed for communication and discourse; serve the purpose of interactions while giving the participants a unique platform to develop an online presence. This surrounding of interaction does not come conveniently, as the web developers have to keep it safe, transparent, authentic and clean; while amending the content of the discourse and ensuring restricted disclosure of personal information. Hence, while Internet serves as a medium to create positives outcomes to the society, it also establishes prominent links by bringing together, various members of the society together who can interact through different mediums and encourage a positive contribution in the society.

The world “on the Web” is ever dynamic and ever changing, bringing new changes in all the fields of life. Where once it has established new means to access the world, it shortens the distances between people creating a “global village”. The internet has served to be a world; we the people can access all the resources in no time, creating changes to their lives like never before. It has revolutionized the face of the Earth, creating new innovations in the world while also contributing to the challenges of each society.
The study of virtual communications is related to conventional areas of study like the organization of bodies of knowledge, the maintenance of a digital presence on the Web, the formation of social groups and networks, and other means of accessing and interacting with the Web. Another worthwhile application of the internet is the social consequence of modern technology as an element of discourse. It is true that internet works as an element of discourse; creating positive interactions between different members of the society and developing a platform where each member can interact with each other, and engage in positive expressions of their opinion and points of view.
Discourse is an interchangeable word for “conversation” that governs our daily interactions with different bodies of individuals whether it is some of the relatives sitting at a distant place or a formal agency of the government where we have to lodge our complaints. The Internet is an integral part of our society's culture, and one of the key elements of civilization.
