The study focuses upon a major societal problem, that is, the problem of rising smoking tendency and the rate of rising smoking in the Teenage. One of the major causes of the problem getting more horrendous and crucial every going day is due to the excessive peer pressure. Peer pressure is one of the highest contributing factors that cause the smoking to rise. In teen age, an individual is most vulnerable to the peer pressure, and therefore, develops a tendency to smoke. As a consequence, the reports depict a very significant rise in the development of smoking among the teens (Kiesbye, 2007, pp. 49-76).

The term smoking itself, is considered to be immensely harmful to the health of the mankind on general.
