PepsiCo Inc. is an American multinational beverage company. The headquarters of Pepsi Co is in Purchase, New York, with research and development headquarters in Valhalla. The company came into being in early 1890 in North Carolina, where pharmacist Caleb Bradham created a drink to cure stomach pains, and named it Pepsi. The company went bankrupt in 1923, but then resurfaced as Loft Candy sweet company. It became known as PepsiCo when it merged with Frito Lay in 1965 allowing the company to enter the snack food market. Then the company added Tropicana, which was acquired in 1998 and PepsiCo merged with the Quaker Oats Company, including Gatorade, in 2001 and 1 March 2009 acquisition of Pepsi complete with Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) and PepsiAmericas (PAS). Today, it is a multinational company is present in over 200 countries with revenues of more than $ 60 million and employs more than 285,000 employees.  The company produces, distributes and sells various drinks and carbonated, sweet and savory snacks and other foods. It is one of the most promising companies in advertising and marketing in the world. The ingredients of their products usually are public domain, so it tends to generate more confidence, plus its affiliates may directly produce PepsiCo beverages with locally sourced ingredients. This multinational corporation is also responsible for the production of Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker products. In 2007, PepsiCo Inc. announced a corporate reorganization that eliminates the above structure of operations in North America and international activities focuses on food and signature drinks.

In the city of Atlanta (Georgia) in 1886, a pharmacist named John S. Pemberton developed the formula of syrup for a "delicious and refreshing" drink. Frank Robinson, devised and designed the brand logo. Initially it was commercially introduced as "an effective tonic for the brain and nerves." In 1886, Coca-Cola sold an average of nine daily sodas. In its first commercial in the newspaper Atlanta Journal May 27, 1886, is highlighted his great qualities as a beverage and refreshment: "Delicious, Refreshing, Stimulating and Invigorating."
