Plato's Republic

Plato is the founding father of Greek philosophy, the figure that revolutionized the entire notion of philosophy and its understanding by the common people. He has been one of the three greatest faces who built the edifice of entire philosophy exists today, however, Plato was the founding figure that led the mankind to live with the essence and goodness, rather than, chasing shadows of unethical values. The philosophical theories of Plato are reflected in the entire literature that comprises of the Greek Philosophy. The Greek literature is based upon the essentialism that connects the being in itself with the being around the world.

The book of Plato belongs to the ancient pieces of literature written by the human hands. The book comprises of a dialogue between Socrates and Plato. The book reflects the situation that the city of Kalipolis has been governed by corrupt and disloyal people for centuries, and therefore, they are to be replaced by the people who are just and right. The notion behind the dialogue was to introduce and induce the concept of justice in the society of Kalipolis. The book is based upon the idea that the implementation of justice in any society is one of the most fundamental premises that strengthen the society. The book is a work of Plato, whereas, the way he communicates with Socrates reflects his philosophical ideologies and human values towards the people of Greece.

The main idea of the book is to give people the concept of Justice. The civil society of Kalipolis was trapped with the false gods, since it was a depiction of the paradigm that societies are founded upon the basis of justice. The idea is to look at the ethical governance of the society that is laid forth through justice. The main idea of the book is to introduce Plato's way of justice, the idea of the justice encompasses of the governance that is based on rules and rights, and therefore, reflects the foundations of the society and its structure, with regard to the development of the societal progress. The system of governance was unjust to the masses, not merely because of their dominance, but also upon the surrendering of people towards these gods. They are all united under a supreme god, whereas, people surrendered to them, since they control the locus of the societal governance, people are fearful to them, since they have the power to govern the elements of nature such as rain, thunderstorm, the snowfall, the sunlight and other elements.

The rationale of the book

The book was written when the civil of Kalipolis was trapped in the godliness of people like them, and therefore, there was no foundation of justice as a fundamental premise. The consequence of the situation led to the development of chaos for the public.
