The Planned Approach of Evaluation

Evaluation is the process of systemic collection and interpretation of data and important information which lead to the judgment and adjustment of the values and objectives. In the process of evaluation is the most important part of the process is the collection of data. The collection of evidences and information therefore is the part of planned approach of evaluation. The planned approach will employ two methods for evaluation purpose. Both are very critical to the performance of the educational institute. They are given below.

Self Evaluation

The process of self evaluation is based on internal progress of institute self-reflection. In this process of evaluation, the management of the institute will carry out the systemic evaluation based on its agreed standards and course of action. In the process of self evaluation, the management of the institute may have external assistance. External assistance may be in the form of advice from the reputable educational institute, who has been employing successfully the process of self evaluation for a long period of time (Teacher pathfinder, 2007). 

External Evaluation

The other most important planned approach for evaluation is the external evaluation, where the evaluation of the performance of the educational institute is conducted by the external and autonomous and independent body. The external evaluation will be conducted by education department and its relevant affiliates like information technology and finance and plant management.

Rationale of Planned Approach of Evaluation

In most cases, the educational institutes only undertake one method of evaluation, because it allow the simplicity of the evaluation and it avoid the clashes of opinions and advices regarding to the performance evaluation of the educational institutes.
