The question imbibes the workability of comparing views of Aristotle and Plato. In the eyes of Aristotle, it was considered towards politics and philosophy that citizens and people living in a particular society, tends to pave for the purpose and objective of living by rules, that have been imposed by the Law and other regulatory bodies, which must be abided by all people living in the country. This is the general phenomenon that we see in the First World countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, where any form of violation or breach of law is highly condemned, scrutinized and looked down upon with a demeaning eye (Nails, 2006).

On the other hand, Plato is of the view that differentiating and different sects of people living in a society should be given their own ways of life, and that it is up to the will of the people that how do they wish to spend their times in the midst of creating a productive and well-knit society. Plato suggests that whatever actions the person may otherwise commit would be a direct derivative and reflection of the culture a person belongs to, the kind of company, peers and relatives he maintains and the kinds of values and ethics that person has otherwise been practicing throughout his life. This is generally more apparent around the world today, especially for those who cannot pursue wisdom and gain education for themselves. Although laws have been framed and that punishments are being executed and imposed upon the guilty, goals of politics should be imbibed with reference to cultivation of the culture around the state and defining the rule of law.
