The prison system of the United States is utilized as a device to chastise the offenders that have desecrated and kaput the law. The individuals of the state prisons were convicted of criminals act and transgressions. The prisons were developed in the United States in the 1700s as an outline and structure of corporeal chastisement and reprimand. Penalties and sanctions were usually acceptable by diverse foundations and philosophies.

Some penalties are considered as practical in nature with the objectives of rehabilitation, prevention, and incapacitation. In the current world, the main objective of various state prison systems is to recuperate the criminal lawbreakers, while some other some other prisons of state are only apprehensive with the punishing and debilitating the offenders. Each prison has its own procedure and policy in black and white that regards its management and operations.

Some of the prisons are measured as harsh on the offenders while some are viewed as merciful. The general public observes the United States Department of Justice as sturdy and hard on the offenders, with a high precedence on the control of prisoners to avert run away. The prison management of United States Department of Justice is also well known for its hard deportment on the maintenance of the control and order of prisons through the intimidation and physical force (Salinas, 2009).

The prisons as an organization do not pull towards itself an immense deal of public concentration in the standard way of events. The public, politicians and the media usually become alert of the prisons when something goes incorrect. For instance, when a glittering criminal break away the prison or when there is a huge event like insurrection.

The criminal justice is straightforwardly concerned in the prosecution, sentencing, apprehension, incarceration, supervision, and defense of those charged or suspected of with illegal felonies.

The criminal justice is a term utilized for the sequence of steps that are included in verifying any offensive action such as arresting the blamed, making defense, collecting evidences, uttering judgment after the offense is proved, carrying out trials, and conducting punishments. In Bible, in Psalm 99:4, it is stated that “The King is mighty, he loves justice--you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right” (Biblos, 2013).

In the society of United States, the criminal justice system is one of the most significant organizations (Cooper, 2013). A criminal justice administration that is efficient, fair, honest, and effective is vital for the broad peace of mind and eminence of human life.
