Introduction

The national prohibition of alcohol took place from the year 1920 till 1933. It was considered as the noble experiment and was conducted so that corruption and crime rate could be decreased, , the social problems could be solved, the tax burden could decreased which was a result of poor houses and prisons, and make better the hygiene and health system in America. But the results that came out of this experiment are proof enough that this prohibition was a huge failure from all perspectives.
