There is a direct relation with the exposure to violence and depression in children. The other problematic symptoms may include the anger, sleep problems, anxiety and fears.

The parents' lack of attention causes copious negative outcomes on the children development especially the employed mother has the most adverse impact both in socio economic terms and the cognitive development as the mothers' attention holds significant importance in better upbringing of a child. The mothers who spend most of their time in caring the children have more better child outcomes than that mothers who are engaged in other activities rather than caring the children. The mothers who spend their time away from home may affect the quality of home environment as well as quality care of children. While on the other hand the mothers who spend quality time at home result in more productive development of their children.
