Role of Freedom

Modern man understands freedom as a diverse functionality, which has multiple meanings. Freedom manifests is itself a different area in a human life, so you can say, for example, the socio-political freedom, which is the state of denial of slavery.

Concept of Freedom

Modern man understands freedom as a diverse functionality, which has multiple meanings. Freedom manifests is itself a different area in a human life, so you can say, for example, the socio-political freedom, which is the state of denial of slavery. It is freedom from coercion and terror, which is the freedom to choose the profession and the style of life is moral freedom in the field of human action, is freedom in choosing and professing on whole (Patterson, 1991).

All such term has a meaning of "freedom" which assumes an understanding of the nature of human freedom. Broadly speaking the word "freedom" means "man at ease", this is depending on the type of restraint. Restraint can be:

Physical - opposed to coercion;

Psychological - as spontaneity, human activity, which is not subject to external pressures;

Spiritual - the ability to self-determination is to be based on the selection of one of several possible actions, even against a stronger motif (this is just the freedom of the will);

Moral - as a right to do or not, because of something ethical, legal;

ease - the right to do something because of the legal norms;

This is a civil liberty as a kind of freedom of human action within the limits imposed civil law, providing the opportunity to, for example, change of residence, employment, contracts, etc (Sen, 1999).

Self-Determination Theory

Understanding motivation factors and self-esteem of older adults engaged in physical activity. This theory proposes that motivation is a continuum, characterized by levels of self-determination, ranging from the more self-determined (intrinsic motivation) at least self-determined or extrinsic motivation (Deci et.al, 1985).

Extrinsic motivation can also vary in different levels, such as:

External regulation: the behavior is effected by means of award material or fear of non- negative sequences;

Internalized regulation: where a source of external motivation is internalized, as composed behaviors reinforced by internal pressures such as guilt or the need to be well liked;

Regulation identifies: when a subject performs a task, which it is not suitable to their choice, which is considered to be important for the individual, even if this behavior is not interesting for an individual;
