Introduction

The purpose of the study is to conduct the analysis of the UK market for the launch of new Samsung 'S' series mobile range. This paper gives a detailed research for developing and implementing the future planned Public Relation Strategy of the new Samsung S4 mobile series. The study will elaborate a six month plan which highlights the initial six month media campaign for the promotion of this brand/product. However, being the PR manager it is my responsibility to show a plan which provides a thorough yet creative marketing media campaign for S4 promotion. For such big brands Public relation is only an administrative function that helps Samsung to interact with social and political components of their environment.

Since Samsung S smart phone series already have proven biggest market success and have always been the top most competitor for Apple iPhones, this time the company has a massive launch of S4 mobile which is a new revolution to the 'S' tablet series. UK market has already attained massive sale of the previous Samsung S3 mobiles and has become the smartest android cell phone of the year. Since the company has planned to introduce S- IV by the beginning of this year, it has to have a proper Personal Relation strategy which would be helpful for the right launch of the Smartphone in the UK market. The paper will show designed PR strategy with the media promotion plan of S- IV along with keeping in view the budget of the promotional campaign and other cost expenses. The paper attempts to highlight the possible promotional assumptions that Samsung must be planning to follow.

Launch of Samsung S IV in UK

Samsung is one of the leading brand names in the field of electronic world. Since the world of smart phones is being the most changing market and is considerably the most flexible market in which change of promotional activities occur with changing goals of the company. Samsung new launch of Galaxy S IV range is another one of the most crucial part for the company and its marketing department. However, Samsung galaxy has been planning something much bigger than the strategic plan of other S- phones ranges. It needs to follow these goals looking at the market position of UK.

Target Market

The target market for this campaign involves all the targeted market projected by the company which involves anybody who has the capability of dealing with complete assistance for every feature of the Smartphone and can manage handling it without looking into the handbook as it already appears on the screen. This gadget has designed for all humans and caters every age group of UK market. However, initially our main focus of targeting this product would be on the potential customers of Samsung smart phones.
