Introduction

Dental caries is extensively recognized as an infectious disease that includes diet. There are certain players who play an important role in aetiology of the diseases such as cariogenic bacteria, a susceptible tooth and host and fermentable carbohydrates. Although in the teenage or infant children the host defense system and the bacterial flora processes and they are in their developmental phase (Linda, Johanna and Athena, 2009). The surface of the teeth may show the hypoplastic defects because they are erupted lately. This has been seen the children or teenager who have the rampant caries are usually affected from the childhood due to their parents who negotiate on their diet and transit their dietary through bottle feeding or breast feeding, this may affect the childhood taste and the taste of solid diet. Therefore, they face unique factors of risk that can affect the teeth and rampant caries may occur at a very young age. It is really perplexing and disturbing to the disease of caries in children and teenagers. They example of the decay is that several of teeth are affected due to the development of caries with rapid potential, and it has been seen more often that the caries are in their rapid phase when the teeth are erupted. It has been faced at a lower risk of developing the caries that affect the buccal surface of jaws between the bones; this is the significant factor in affecting the children's appearance as far as his face is concerned. This pattern of caries is generally known as 'night bottle mouth', 'baby bottle tooth decay' and 'nursing caries'. These three terms have suggested that the reason of caries is the inappropriate breast feeding or bottle feeding. Whereas, current evidences suggests that caries may occur due to the extensive use of sugar products, sugar containing liquid in a bottle at the time of night, these might be considered as the significant factors of aetiological. The dentist and the researchers have suggested that it may or may not be the most significant factor for rampant caries but it is recommended globally with the terminology of 'early childhood caries' or 'rampant caries in teenager'. These terms are generally used while addressing anyone to infant or preschool children (Roberson & Lundeen, 2003).
