Introduction

Computer technology has brought various changes and innovations every field of life, including education, research, medicine and even in the corporate world. According to recent studies, the field of computer technology incorporates various techniques and applications. These techniques or applications may include LAN, WAN etc. All these technology may greatly help the organizations to communicate or broadcast their strategies to the entire organization. In the given case the newly posted CIO (chief information's officer) has developed a mission statement, having nine points. It is expected from the operational manager to address the advanced strategy of the organization, in a three phase rollout plan. In addition to this, it is also expected from the operational manger to give his/her feedback on the technology of MAN and LAN (Brodie, 2009). The proceeding paper incorporates the idea, that why the fifth point, fulfill the information needs of management, is present in the policies of CIO. Furthermore, each point is also evaluated in the paper, in order to determine the most important points for the phase of initial rollout. Recommendation to the CIO is also provided in the study.

In the current era, information and the management of information may play a vital role in the success of the business or any organization. It is because of the reason that managed and appropriate information may greatly help the management of the organization to take appropriate decisions, in order to ensure the reputation of an organization in the targeted market (Desman, 2002).
