Ronald G. Spaeth completed his bachelor's in arts from Western Reserve University in Ohio and MBA from university of Chicago. He is a fellow of the America College of healthcare executives. He has been serving as the president of the Highland Park Hospital for almost two decades from 1983 to 2002. Before that he was serving Evanston Hospital from 1972 to 1983 in various capacities including vice president of corporate services and senior executive vice president. His other works include having been serving on numerous boards such as the Board of trustees of the Illinois Hospital and Board of governors of the American Cole of Healthcare Executives. At present, he is serving on the Board of Commissioners of the Joint Commission oil Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. He has received a gold medal award in 2005 from the American College of Healthcare Executive.

Ronald G. Spaeth employs the strategy detailed by scientific management. The principles he wants to employ are ample clear. Breaking down the jobs into smaller components and then redesigning them for the employees. He wants the problems of the internal organization to be addressed by four measures.
