“In real world, conversations with considerate local speakers which are willing in helping the acquirer understand are helpful” (Krashen, 2008, pp. 76).

“The process of acquisition requires a meaningful interaction with in the targeted language- the natural communication- in which the speakers are not only concerned with message which they convey and understand” (Krashen, 2008, pp. 76).

“Language does not require the far-reaching use conscious grammatical rules, and it does not even require the tedious drill” (Krashen, 2008, pp. 76).

The second language refers to the learning of the other language in addition of the first language that you already know. People have this need of learning to the other language in order to compete with the need of the situation (Brown and Hanlon, 1970, pp. 70). This learning also incorporates the third fourth and fifth languages. Further the need for these languages acquisition in learning of the second language after the full understanding of the first language is a must. Many times when the individual already is aware of the second language, find an ease in accepting the change of the linguistic issues. Learning another language is not an easy way, it takes a lot of time and practise which makes complexities in individuals learning's. The core of the study is to find the reasons to the second learning of the languages. The study will tell about the emphasis of the influence of the second language learning in the life of an individual and highlights the learning practices under the theories of the second language. The assignment also shows a background of the Lerner's experience along with the entry handbook of the teachers. In the end the self experienced learning is also provided.

Q1: Discuss the main ways in which the individual learner has been viewed in these two second language learning theories (Behaviourism and contrastive analysis hypothesis) and ( Krashen's monitor model) and evaluate the influence that these ideas have had on the teaching of second languages.

Language acquisition is similar to children's process in acquiring both the first and the second language. There lie a significant interaction in the target language which is more like a natural communication in which the speaker are not directly connected to the form of their utterance but also with the understanding and conveying of the messages. The corrections of errors along with the rules teachings are not directly relevant to the acquisition of languages. (Brown and Hanlon, 1970, pp. 72), however, the caretakers and the local speakers can modify their utterances which are addressed for acquiring the help in making them understand, and these modifications are to think in helping the acquisition processes. (Snow, 1977, pp. 218). It has also been hypothesized that there has a fine stable order of acquisition of the structures in language acquisitions, which means that one can feel similarities across actually acquires that to which structure are to be acquired later (Brown, 1973, pp. 106).
