ABTRACT

The study on the Security problems in E-Commerce is a broad topic that covers wide range of other topics within it. However the present study has put light solely on the risk factors associated with the E-Commerce as it is one of the fastes growing feids in the world. The sudden changes in the computing and the technologies related to the communication have raised the importance of the E-Commerce. With the popularity of the E-Commerce due to lower transaction cost, global outreach of the users and faster transaction speed are some the reasons of the popularity of this new mode of Commerce. However different problems with respect to the security of the transacations and assets have also been faced by the individuals using this new technology. The study takes into account different new concepts related to the security risk in E-Commerce.As the public money has been involved within the banking operations of the companies, large amount of public money has been involved within the transactions there the role played by the privacy and information security cannot be exaggerated within the E-Commerce. The encryption and two factor authentication techniques are widely used solutions for maintaining effective security within the E-Commerce sector. Differnet laws and standards are also of main concern for the security risk of the E-Commerce.
