Today students face difficulties in choosing a one right career to pursue from the wide range of careers present nowadays. This report is designed to recommend a client on choosing one particular career from two choices he is presently confused between. The two career choices present here are Software Engineering and Network Engineering. Both are computer related careers where one is related to software programming and second is to network architecture. Thus, this report provides analysis of both careers and recommendations regarding selected anyone.

Purpose, Scope, and Limitations

The purpose of this report is to recommend a client a particular career from the two choices present i.e. Software Engineering and Network Engineering. Both are interesting careers, however, one can choose any particular field depending on various aspects. So, this report will provide a wide picture of both the careers including various important aspects related to them. The report will cover the nature of work performed in both careers and the pros and cons of these careers including future prospects, salaries, and others. However, there are some limitations like data availability for Network Engineering is very limited.

Sources and Methods

The method used for this report is based on secondary research methodologies comprised of qualitative as well as quantitative data. Secondary data method is used to collect data regarding both the career choices because it provides rigorous and thorough information which helps in aligning the data and provides detailed information that helped in appropriate comparison between both the careers.
