Science and the human race have an authentic relationship. With time, there are great developments and advancements throughout the human race with advancements. However, the time has come that, in the contemporary world, power rests in the hands of science and scientific policy managers to a far greater extent than in the formal institutions of power. The future of the earth is highly uncertain if we look at the current environment we are living. However, science plays a crucial role in creating a strong stance in the world and; similarly, it also keeps on hurting the world natural environment also it is useful in Earth's sustainability. In the United States, science and technology has always been important. Ever since the 17th century, any vision of a nation's future has incorporated a technological and scientific dimension, closely connecting science to development. Technological and scientific expertise has been the key to the emergence and success of the modern state and has been essential to U.S. emergence as a global power.

Scientific decisions on matters of energy, environment, or health have a far greater impact on the daily lives of citizens than ephemeral political power. Moreover, global challenges like climate change are in essence scientific challenges that expand the power of scientists and challenge policymakers to come up with solutions, that are based, in science, environmental technology being just one these. Emerging challenges with regard to the formulation of science and technology policy revolve around the fact that economic expansion accompanied by growing global environmental concerns, such as climate change, energy security, and increasing scarcity of resources (Pursell, 2007).

Emergence of Science

Since, the growing recognition that human activities are transforming Earth systems and having far-reaching implications for society has given rise to the ambitious research field of science which is working for the future of Earth. These recent, historical events gave birth to a whole new concept in the field of science that focuses on the future of the earth and keeping it a human friendly place. However, sustaining our environment and making earth a better place is highly important for the whole human race otherwise the destruction will be of mammoth scale and might lead to devastating results for the human race.

It was only in the 20th century that the organized management of advanced science and technology for national security became a key element of governance. Moreover, science has made innovative global scenario. Whether there is a transnational knowledge network, mediated by science, a call center, industry-university collaboration, or diasporic networks of scientists who have their roots in a certain mode of training. However, the integrated nature of this situation is responsible for exerting greater stress on global systems.
