This paper has been written with regards to physical therapy clinic and improvement opportunity in terms of new service that supports the mission, vision, and goals of the Physical Therapy have been discussed. The paper further consists of other components such as Physical Therapy products, annual sales, market, clients, employees, structure, competitors, mission and vision, organizational goals, value drivers and integration.

Physical Therapy

The aim of physical therapy is to identify and to maximize the quality of life that an individual lives. It also covers the spheres of prevention, intervention and assists in rehabilitation which ensures the well being of the people in terms of physical, psychological, emotional and social aspects. Introducing the cognitive behavior therapy will serve as an improvement opportunity and it will also support the mission, vision, and goals of the physical therapy (Porter, 2000).

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive, behavioral therapy was developed by merging the behavior therapy and cognitive therapy. This approach is psychotherapeutic and is known as talking therapy. The purpose of cognitive, behavioral therapy is to solve problems that are related to dysfunctional emotions, behaviors and cognitions. Therefore, a systemic and goal oriented procedure is used. CBT treats various problems that include mood, anxiety, psychotic disorders and drug abuse. Treatment is manual, and a specific technique is used. It is used in individual therapy as well as in group settings and is sued for the purpose of self-help (Porter, 1997).

Cognitive, behavioral therapy was introduced in the arena of public health in terms of depression and is used to predict the possibility of depression. An individual's likelihood to prevent him from being effected by depression depends on the perceptions they develop. Some of these are mentioned below.

All these factors are influenced by various variables that have indirect influence on the body. Therefore, this model is being used to intervene the problem, either moderate or severe (Hockenbury, 2009).

CBT is one of the types of treatment that might not be suitable for some people, however, it does not eliminate the problem and the symptoms completely if an individual is in a stressful environment continuously. Therefore, there are various cases for which CBT does not work well. Therefore, drug treatment as well as other types of psychotherapy is required (Loustaunau & Elisa, 1997).
