The technological advancement in the information technology has brought various changes in the economics of supply and demand. When we talk about the computers, their demand and supply depends on various factors such as price, brand, quality, buyers' purchasing powers, economic conditions, technological innovation and advancements etc. The quantity demanded of a computer is the amount that a consumer would like to consume if they really are willing to buy. The law of demand states that with all else equal, when the price of a good decreases the quantity demanded increase, and when the price of the good decreases, the quantity demanded increases.

Therefore, it can be said generally that a fall in the price of computer will lead to an increase in the demand for the computer by keeping the other factors constant. Movements along the demand curve occur when there is a change either in the price or in the quantity demanded. The relationship will remain consistent along with the movement.

As demand increases, the supply of products and services, so that providers are forced to cut prices to make them attractive to consumers. There are essentials and necessities of life that are not impacted by any factor, even price, because they have to be consumed and people will purchase them even if their prices are increased. Computers are such necessities. Even though their prices have been increased and are still increasing, their demand will not decrease because they are the necessities of life and will be consumed by almost everyone (Fisher, 2007).
