Introduction

Kelo v. City of New London was the case that was decided by the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Supreme Court has made use of well-known sphere of influence in order to transfer the land from one owner to another, for the purpose of more economic development. The decisions which held in the court on the general benefits for the community that was offered to enjoy economic growth, which is therefore eligible via the redevelopments plan in the private sector, which is allowed for public use as well. This decision was amendment in regards with the taking clause of Fifth Amendment (Pfizer and Kelo v. City of New London, pp. 587).
