Sustainability Waste

Introduction

With our world becoming more and more dependent on the decisions we make that effect our environment around us, it's our job to maintain and innovate new ideas within businesses to sustain environmental health. The only problem with that is many businesses do not participate in environmental sustainability practices, which cause many issue within our environment. That being said we have analyzed the question of what is the impact on businesses that do not pay attention to sustainability.

One of the most obvious issues when a business doesn't participate in environmental sustainability is waste. Waste is non-disposable and ends up in a landfill, which takes up space within our environment. With our rapid expansion of people, cities, homes, and businesses this causes less room for all those components. Also waste produces toxic fumes into our air/atmosphere, which is an obvious concern since oxygen might be the single most important thing to life on earth. Another issue is the placement of businesses or project that extremely effects the environment around these locations. The placement of these businesses around the world are causing harm to large populations of wild life and also destroying natural habitats that help our environment. The location of their project is becoming significantly hazardous to the already endangered western gray whale.

Another impact of businesses that do not pay attention to sustainability is the influence they have on other businesses. Even though businesses make are entitled to make their own decisions, they are often influenced by other businesses that are similar to them. For a business to become “green” it does overall cost more to in terms of production and resources. With that being true other companies feel the need no to go green not only because of the cost but because their competitors or similar business do not participate in “going green” as well. With many businesses being influenced by their competitors it causes lots of products to be made that are not under the “green standard. That translates into many consumers buying these products, which then promotes unfriendly environmental sustainability. As long as people keep buying the unfriendly products then the “non green” businesses will keep producing harmful environmental products. This is a major issue and has an enormous impact in our environment, as long as this continues it will be very difficult to sustain a healthy environment within our world.

The cement industry includes facilities with ovens that use wet or dry process cement stone to produce limestone, and using lightweight aggregate to produce from shale or slate. Rotary kilns are used to elevate the material at temperatures of 1400 ° C. The main raw materials are limestone, sand of silica, clay, shale, marl and chalk oxides. Adding silica, aluminum and iron in the form of sand, clay, bauxite, shale, iron ore and blast furnace slag. We introduce cast during the final phase of the ...
