A Description of the System Life Cycle

A system life cycle can be referred as the series of six stages that worked in a combination to improve an information system. It is also known as application development, and can be used to create an information system in different organization. The central purpose of system life cycle is to modify the framework for the control and planning of the creation, testing, and the finalization of information system. This process can also be used to ensure the solutions of the end state that meet with the requirements of the user. System life cycle is also helpful to provide complete guidance to assist project managers. The life cycle of the system will include the stage of assessment, proper planning, full analysis, precise design, sufficient implementation, and the stage of maintenance. All of these stages have their own effectiveness in the production system (Goodman, Caravati & Kirby, 2011).

Planning
