Introduction

The boogeyman is a short story that is written by the author Stephen King. It is a story in a form of a short film that describes the setting of the characters and the plot of the story. It is a horror story that is a part of the horror series of the author namely Night Shift. The story Boogeyman takes place in a horror psychological setting where the analyst and the client of the story are both the main characters of the story. The client and the analysts of the story saw each other in the first setting of the short film which was characterized by the psychological setting. The story fascinates the reader through the horror element present in it that scares the people and provides adventurous entertainment to them. The children who are told the story of the Boogeyman have developed some kind of a sense of the fright among them and they listen to their parents in the future whatever they ask them to do. The children who have only listened to the name of the Boogeyman are curious about the character and their parents did not tell them who is a Boogeyman. The frightening of the children and the emotions are driven by the concept of the Boogeyman lead them towards deep thinking of a monster who is the Boogeyman in the story. Background

Stephen King is the author of the short story Boogeyman. Stephen king was born in 1947 in the area of Portland, marine (Official Website, N.p). His father was Donald King and mother was Nellie Ruth Pillsbury king. His parents separated when Stephen was at the age of a toddler. After the separation of his parents, the mother of Stephen brought up the two children including David and Stephen king. His mother took her to Durham, marine to provide them better lifestyle and education that was available in the older region where he lived. He attended the school in Durham which was a grammar school and graduated from Lisbon falls high school in the year 1966. Stephen has written several weekly columns in the magazine of the school and the newspaper. He was interested in politics and therefore he became the member of the senate. He married Tabitha Spruce in the year 1971. He was a laborer at that time and worked in an industrial laundry. He started writing short stories in the men's magazines. The first short story of Stephen was The Glass floor which was a series of the Startling Mystery Stories and it was sale in the year 1967.
