This research paper discusses the US endeavors in spilling over the war in Iraq. The war had been started by the US officials to stop the Iraq from equipping the nuclear weapons and to protect the country from the possible attacks of the terrorists. The US officials were planning to consider the exit strategy scheme which would not only end the war but would have a good implication morally, militarily, and politically. This research will analyze the consequences of the war in the region as well as grounds which make the presence of the US military forces indispensable for the period of a decade. Previous research done on the topic is used to analyze and synthesis the nature of the problem. However, it has been discovered that in order to justify his attack, US must need to fulfill his promise to rebuild Iraq economically as well as politically. Achieving this objective will obviously result in great loss of lives and money for an uncertain period of time. In addition this huge budget and loss of human lives do have a negative consequence in the US home land too. That compels the ruling party to extract its military force from the Iraq territory. On the contrary, the result of this immature pulling out of the military force disintegrates the infrastructure of the newly emerging state. In addition, such disintegrations may result in making Iraq a refugee for the terrorists. In addition a successful formation of a democratic regime in Iraq; will certainly lead to a wider democratization of the entire Middle East, nonetheless it takes a period of a decade.

Problem Statement

The presence of US military forces in Iraq for a period of decade has given emergence to many suspicions about the US administration. Though, making peace in the region and stabilizing the new state was the first priority, the question arises that why US administration did take a decade to move back its troops from Iraq? Though, the top policy makers had no realistic plan for the termination of the war despite of the exit strategy presented by the officials. However, findings indicated that in the twentieth century invasion of a regime does not hold the purpose for fighting a “war” only. On the other hand, it might as well intend for the transformation of a form of government as well as building the entire infrastructure.

Discussion

Background of the Issue Though the proclaimed causes of USA invasion in Iraq; were the demolition of mass destructive weapons and the state connection to terrorism, as well as the establishment of democracy.
