Abstract

Many people from around the world migrate and establish in United States for the improvement of their well being and social status. These people belong to all social groups as well as all ethnic groups. However, there are a number of issues that these migrants face. It has been found that there are very challenging and poor living conditions of children that are born in United States to Mexican immigrants of unmarried families. Various issues have been identified and highlighted that are the reasons behind the living conditions of these children of unmarried parent. This paper aims at discussing and analyzing the important factors that are found by various analysts. Scholarly articles and research studies have also been discussed in this paper that communicates the valid factors behind the problem in question. Few suggestions that are made by many scholars are also included in this paper.

Introduction

The people from all over the world come and live in United States for earnings and improving their social well beings. New children are also born and they become US citizens. As a citizen the children of migrants have all the rights but it is found that these children face many problems and they have very different living conditions. Especially the children of Mexican immigrants are facing living conditions in United States. The serious conditions are of those children who are of unmarried families. There is certain area in United States where there is Mexican population and in these areas it has been observed that children are less active and less well off as compared to other ethnic groups.

These children of unmarried Mexican families face conflicts in social demands in United States cultures. They face many challenges in getting into the friendly environments. Many of the reasons have been founds to analyze these problems that are faced by children. Mothers are the main factors behind their reasons. Mostly the Mexican immigrant mothers are not well off and they migrate to United States for the sake of improving their well beings. The poverty and the lack of education of Mexican immigrant unmarried mothers are the factors that leads their children to face living challenges in United States.

Discussion

From the researches it has been found that more than thirty percent, the child birth in United States occurs to the unmarried women. It has found that in many States of US, the rate of children born to unmarried women is about 1/3 of the total births of the children in that region. There is increasing rate of non marital births in recent years. There are many policies that have been developed for the people who are living together without getting bound in legal relationship.
